Teulon

The Heart of Canada

Lying 60 km. north of Winnipeg on Highway 7, Teulon is easily within commuting distance for people who prefer a pastoral setting in which to live.

Surrounded by agriculture, Teulon has developed as a town where farmers go to relax at the Chicken Chef or any of the other coffee places, play a round of golf, go to the recreation centre or shop. With one medium-sized grocery store a pharmacy, clothing store and a few specialty stores, Teulon has all that locals need for everyday supplies.

The main street is quiet, wide and inviting, running along what used to be an active railway line but which, like many spur lines, has now been decommissioned.

Curling, dances and hockey are the mainstay indoor recreation activities in the winter, while summers include many of the active sports, the yearly fair (including tractor pull), and overnight camping.

It has a regional hospital, elementary and high school.

Teulon is an affordable community and an attractive place to live, with welcoming residents.
