Westman extends from the North Dakota border north to the TransCanada highway, east from the Saskatchewan border to Portage la Prairie.
Cities and towns in this region include Brandon (the second-largest city in the province), Portage la Prairie, scenic Souris, Killarney, Virden and many villages along Highways 2 and 3.
The area primarily is farm land with some rolling hills west of Portage la Prairie and south near Boissevain.
