Falcon Lake, located on the far eastern part of the province along Highway 1, is one of the most sought-after camping areas in the provincial parks program. The beautiful, relatively shallow lake is a destination for teh summer crowd, who also enjoy its excellent golf course. However, Falcon Lake also has a bustling winter season, with cross country skiing, snowmobile & snowshoe trails, hiking routes and even a “bunny” ski slope.

In recent decades, more people have located to Falcon Lake, inside the Whiteshell Park, year-round. It has a population of nearly 400, doubling in size since 2016.
