Mnitoba generally is broken into six regions, plus Winnipeg. With over half of the province’s population in the city, the focus most often is on Winnipeg’s needs and offerings. However, the six parts of the province that remain have unique perspectives and offerings. Click on the appropriate links to connect to each of the regions, plus the “First Nations” link. This link leads to the portal for the hundreds of First Nations bands and reserves, although we have not completed summaries for most of them.
Within each region page, you will also encounter links to the cities, towns, villages and communities within that region. Occasionally, you will see maps breaking Manitoba into 7 regions, with two in the south and south central region, and others combining WestMan with the Parklands region.
